We leave at 8:45 from Europe Square and head toward Kakheti, Georgia's most famous wine region.
An hour in, the first stop is Manavi: a churchkhela tasting and traditional Georgian sweets.
Another 30 minutes on, Badiauri, a Kakhetian shoti bread bakery. For 5 ₾ you can bake bread yourself if you like.
30 minutes from Badiauri, Bodbe Monastery overlooks the Alazani Valley. It is the resting place of Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia.
20 minutes from Bodbe, the romantic town of Sighnaghi, the town of love: a tour of the town and a walk along the fortress wall. There we also have a wine tasting and lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Alazani Valley.






We meet at Europe Square and set off for Kakheti.
